Accuracy of Kardia Mobile?? Frustrated!
Quote Myticker 1) Is it possible for someone to convert from Persistent A-fib to Paroxysmal A-fib, thereby giving the conflicting Kadria Mobile results? 2) Since the Kardia Mobile results are trending towards more Normal SR than Possible A-Fib, could that be the result of the Cipro wearing off? 3) Is the Kardia Mobile accurate? Are there any known issues of it giving false positives or false ...

Paroxysmal to permanent AF – is it inevitable?
Paroxysmal to permanent AF – is it inevitable? KANSAS CITY, KANSAS. Atrial fibrillation (AF) usually starts out as being intermittent in nature (paroxysmal) with episodes being self-terminating, fairly short, and relatively infrequent. I went off the Amniodarone and when the afib episodes came back I was training for 2 marathons. Bad move on my part, Endurance exercise does cause afib in me and I just had to realize that I'm getting older and with my heart issues endurance exercise is not a good thing for me. I continued for the past 4 years to have occasional afib.

Stopping Eliquis After Successful Ablation
After my first ablation, I went 13 years without a blood thinner. Then afib came back and a second ablation, then off blood thinners after a month or so. THEN a bilateral pulmonary embolism (blood clots in the lungs), but no source could be found. So now, even though my afib isn't happening, I am on Eliquis for life at my Dr's recommendation. I work out often and there are a couple of ...
