DC unreachable on VPN - social.technet.microsoft.com
One strange thing I've noticed is that looking at records in my DNS when connecting through an external network I get two entries for my client computer (client_computer) - eg. 172.20.10.7 which is the ip address for my wireless router when connected through my phone and 192.168.1.68 which is the address from my VPN adapter.

Monitor virtual disks - social.technet.microsoft.com
I want to monitor and maybe create overrides for the disks of my virtual Hyper-V guests. Basically I am using a mixture of dynamic and fixed disks which are labeled according what they are "fixed_xxx" / "dynamic_xxx". I haven't found a way to accomplish this reliably.

RDS 2016 session hangs when monitor goes to sleep on W10 clients.
We consistantly encounter this effect on Windows 10 machines connecting to Windows Server 2016 Terminal Servers using the RDWEB gateway. The basic steps are this: 1. Obtain the license server id from your 2003 TS Licensing server. To do this open TS Licensing (licmgr.exe), right-click on the server name and choose properties, and switch the connection method to Telephone. Next right-click on the server name again and choose Install licenses, click Next on the wizard.

cannot ping default gateway, cannot access the internet
I can ping the the server itself, the other domain serveres, the first switch, the core switch but cannot ping the firewall or the router.

Cluster Heartbeat is using the wrong network
Storage is Fibrechannel. Live Migration network is a crossover 10GBit connection, the rest are non-teamed 1GBit switch connection. All three networks are cluster use enabled. The cluster network was the network with the lowest metric. Due to some network problems we decided to change the network for the clustertraffic to use the 10GBit connection.

Num Lock problem: Strange number in InitialKeyboardIndicators in Registry.
The value is obviously bit encoded with bit one being the switch for num lock on/off. There are other bits in a word and in fact, that similar thread does show that bit zero is the switch for Caps Lock, and bit two is the switch for Scroll Lock. So what do all the other bits in 2147483648 (the value that is in my registry entry) do?
