A subset of FreeStyle Libre 3 and Libre 3 Plus sensors can give falsely low glucose readings, with 736 serious adverse events and seven deaths reported worldwide. Only specific Libre 3 and Libre 3 Plus sensors are affected. Abbott, the manufacturer of FreeStyle Libre, has issued an urgent safety ...
So I have been using Libre 2 for a while now and haven't had 1 sensor last 15 days. They have lasted between 8 hours and 11 days at best. I have found them very unreliable. Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know why these sensors are so unreliable?
I'm fairly new to constant glucose monitoring having used the Libre2 system for a few months. However I find there is a massive difference between it's reading and finger prick tests. Does anyone else get this? I'm using a Glucofix Tech GK finger prick tester which always reads well above the...
I have been using the freestyle libre since January 2019. The sensors were great and most of them lasted the full 2 weeks on my arm. I was upgraded to the libre 2 in March this year and since then, the sensors have been a nightmare. I haven’t had a single sensor stay on my arm for the full 2...
The Abbott FreeStyle Libre has come as an entirely new concept in glucose monitoring by providing much greater data than blood glucose testing whilst being more affordable than continuous glucose monitors (CGM).
Not sure if this has been discussed anywhere on the forum, so I thought I'd pass this on. As in the title, if you are using the Libre 2+ (unsure if other Libre versions are affected) and using the latest Samsung phones that have had a recent update(see title), then there are known connectivity...
I checked my Libre. There was a message box which said something like 'on pause while blood readings stabilize' or something like that. I hadn't seen that message before. I thought my blood sugars were more likely going down than up, luckily I had some sweet candy in my pocket, so I ate one. I was only about a 5 min or so walk from home.
Hi everyone, Im using Freestyle Libre 3 on my iphone. Now I want to update to IOS26. But wondering if the sensor will be still connected to the app and still work after the update? Any experience with this anyone?
The Libre sensor is a good example of this , I’m told to put in on my arm it gets knocked off on a door jam constantly so I think I’ll put it somewhere else it works fine no more door jam problems problem solved
