Unfortunately, the list of apps doesn't include any VLC player. I found four APK's of the VLC player under APK which I just deleted, but that didn't solve the problem.

I would like to use the WinRT version of VLC, but I deleted the MS store so I cannot use the store link.
Does "where to get my music" mean: In which directory it resides? Look at the top two options in More > Settings. Either enable VLC to look in all local directories every time it starts up, or uncheck this and instead go into "Media library folders" and enable individual folders. I have a lot of folders and find bad things happen when I enable more before VLC has completed discovery of one folder.
