A routine patrol turned into an act of compassion recently when Cocoa Police officers went above and beyond to help a stranded mother.
Floodwaters trapped Jarvis Johnson on a Valley highway Friday afternoon. As other cars stalled, he waded in to help, at one point giving women piggyback rides to safety, a moment captured on video.
