FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: Snow and ice are forecast for the Ozarks Wednesday. The highest band of snow will fall northwest of I-44 at 4-8 inches. Along and slightly south of I-44, including Springfield, 2-5 inches is possible. This is also where some freezing rain and sleet is forecast. South of this band, a trace up to two inches. This area is tricky because there may be a substantial amount of ice here which will decrease the amount of snow. Most areas will see less than .2" inches of ice howev
